Sime Darby Bioganic Sdn Bhd is mainly involved in the manufacturing of Gold Tri.E – a tocotrienol-rich palm oil extract. Tocotrienol is a type of Vitamin E which is 40 to 60 times more potent as anti-oxidant than tocopherol – the regular type of Vitamin E that are found in nuts, leafy green vegetables and fortified cereals. Research shows that tocotrienol is highly beneficial in the prevention of cardiovascular conditions, cancer, skin-related conditions and many other degenerative diseases. Gold Tri.E tocotrienol is used in the dietary supplements, nutraceuticals, functional foods and cosmeceuticals. It is available in liquid and powder forms.
