Sime Farms Sdn Bhd

The company, a joint venture between Sime Darby Plantation Sdn Bhd and Kedah Agro Industries Sdn Bhd, is not only involved in the planting of the crop but also involved in the agropreneur development programme. The programme was developed to meet the objectives of the government’s Northern Corridor Economic Region (NCER) project namely to improve the earnings of local farmers.

Through this programme, Sime Darby Plantation aspires to modernise the image of agriculture sector and improve the living standards of some 600 farmers in Kedah over the next five years by giving them training in farm management, post harvest management, marketing and entrepreneurship.
